How To Make Sweetheart Peppermint Chocolate Bark

  1. Prepare: Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Crush candy & cookies: Unwrap peppermints and oreo cookies. Place in separate zipped bags, crush with rolling pin or meat pounder into small pieces.
  3. Melt Chocolate: Place chocolate chips in microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between, until melted.
  4. Mix: Once the chocolate is melted, mix in peppermint extract.
  5. Spread Chocolate: Pour chocolate onto parchment paper and spread into thin layer.
  6. Add candy & cookies: Sprinkle peppermint and Oreo Cookies on top of chocolate and press lightly.
  7. Refrigerate: To harden, refrigerate chocolate bark for 20-30 minutes.
  8. Enjoy: Once the chocolate has hardened, break into pieces and enjoy!

  • 12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 10-15 peppermint candies
  • 5-10 Oreo Cookies
  • 1/4 t peppermint extract
