- Peppermint: 10-15 peppermint candies (you could also use candy canes)
- Cookies: 5-10 Oreo Cookies (or cookies of your choice)
- Peppermint Extract: 1/4 teaspoon of peppermint extract
How To Make Sweetheart Peppermint Chocolate Bark
- Prepare: Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Crush candy & cookies: Unwrap peppermints and oreo cookies. Place in separate zipped bags, crush with rolling pin or meat pounder into small pieces.
- Melt Chocolate: Place chocolate chips in microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between, until melted.
- Mix: Once the chocolate is melted, mix in peppermint extract.
- Spread Chocolate: Pour chocolate onto parchment paper and spread into thin layer.
- Add candy & cookies: Sprinkle peppermint and Oreo Cookies on top of chocolate and press lightly.
- Refrigerate: To harden, refrigerate chocolate bark for 20-30 minutes.
