Tayshia Adams Responds to Hosting The Bachelorette

As Matt James’ season of The Bachelor comes to an end, Bachelor Nation is dealing with a lot. In the most recent news, long-time host Christ Harrison will not be hosting the upcoming season of The Bachelorette. Instead, former stars of The Bachelorette Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe will fill the roll.

Tayshia Adams Speaks Out

Bachelor Nation is buzzing with the recent news! So what does the most recent bachelorette have to say on the matter? On Saturday March 13, Tayshia shared her reaction to her Instagram story.

In her story, Tayshia says, “Oh my gosh, you guys. What a wild announcement to be made within the last 24 hours! I feel so honored to be given the opportunity, but I’m just so so so happy, and I’m so happy that you guys are happy. I’ve been getting so many phenomenal messages and words of encouragement and it means so much.”

While some fans are upset about the show continuing without Chris Harrison, Tayshia also mentions that Chris is supportive of her new position! Adams also says, “The fact that I talked to Chris [Harrison] the other day and he was so kind and congratulated me for being a part of the next season meant the absolute world.”

The former bachelorette seems excited and ready up to the task! She ended her Instagram story saying, “So with that being said y’all, let’s freakin go! Bachelorette 17, your girl’s here baby!”

Tayshia’s Bachelorette Journey

Bachelor Nation fans will remember that Tayshia Adams is the most recent star of The Bachelorette, and fresh off an unconventional season. When The Bachelorette started with the star Clare Crawley, fans were not ready for Clare to immediately find love with contestant Dale Moss. The two were engaged and off the show in a matter of weeks, so Tayshia arrived to finish the season!

Thankfully, things worked out for everyone! Tayshia Adams met her now fiance Zac Clark and the two are still together! So, maybe Tayshia’s recent experience as The Bachelorette will help her to host this next season.
