Doctor Stephen Strange is one of the more elusive characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Although his back story is somewhat traumatic, his imprint on the MCU has been everlasting. The 'doctor' in Doctor Strange comes from his background in the medical field. He had a career-ending car accident that left him unemployed and hopeless.
Upon his arrival in Nepal, he is looking for anything that would heal his fingers so he could return to being a world-renowned surgeon in New York. What he doesn't know is that he will change the universe forever and become the Sorcerer Supreme after saving the world in three different cities.
Benedict Cumberbatch tells the story of Doctor Strange and has since reprised his role for multiple other Marvel movies.
