The Bachelorette Hosts Say Katie Thurston Gets “Down and Dirty” This Week

Tonight is the second episode of The Bachelorette season 17! Fans will get to watch Katie Thurston go on her first dates of the season and spend more time getting to know her guys. Hosts Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe are excited to share their thoughts of the season.

Katie Thurston Is Ready For Love

Last week, Bachelor Nation fans met Katie Thurston’s group of guys and watched Greg get the first impression rose. However, co-host Kaitlyn Bristowe tells fans to keep an eye on all of the guys.

Bristowe says, “They all are either dramatic or sweet or humble or funny. They all bring something to the table. There’s a couple you’re going to want to keep your eyes on, but I’ll let you have your own opinions. You’re going to see personalities shine very soon.”

Tayshia Adams also comments on contestant Mike Planeta, who is a virgin, saying, “He’s an absolute sweetheart.” Some fans are concerned that Mike will not do well because Katie Thurston is outspokenly sex-positive.

As for what fans can expect on tonights episode watching Katie’s first dates, Tayshia says, “We’re going to get down and dirty in multiple ways this evening.” 

Blake Moynes Surprises Katie

One twist that fans saw last week in the season teaser is that Blake Moynes from Tayshia’s season, shows up for Katie Thurston.

Tayshia Adams recalls seeing Blake arrive to win Katie’s heart saying, “I was like, ‘First of all, what are you doing here? But also, I know your heart, you’re a kind person, and if this is where you feel like you should be, then I’m going to support you in that. But I didn’t know how she’s [Katie] going to feel. So it’s going to be really interesting to watch that play out.”

Bachelorette Katie Thurston revealed that she and Moynes had spoken before outside of the show. When he arrived on her season, Katie recalls, “I was like, ‘Why is he here?’ Like, ‘What’s happening?’”

Fans will have to wait and see whether or not Katie Thurston lets Blake stay on the show or if she turns him away. No matter what, it looks like this season will be full of drama!
