Chris Harrison's departure from Bachelor Nation resulted in a $9 million payout for the long-time host. A source told Variety that the current co-hosts' contacts include multi-year options.
Currently, there is no permanent host of the franchise. Variety reported that ABC may announce a permanent host for the next season of The Bachelor.

The Bachelor Controversy
Bachelor Nation has been going through changes since the premiere of Matt James’ season of The Bachelor. During the season, racially insensitive photos of contestant Rachael Kirkconnell gained attention.

Former star of The Bachelorette Rachael Lindsay and Chris Harrison discussed the controversial situation. In an interview with Lindsay, Harrison reportedly defended Kirkconnell. Following backlash from fans, Harrison stepped down as host but he maintained an interest in returning.
However, ABC since announced his official departure from the franchise. Tayshia and Kaitlyn stepped in to host The Bachelorette season 17. With Adams and Bristowe confirmed to host season 18, fans will see more of their favorite duo.
As for Bachelor in Paradise, the shows' 7th season will have several guest hosts. These include David Spade, Lil Jon, Titus Burgess, and also Lance Bass.

Don Wilson says
Bring Harrison back. These two girls that are hosting are terrible at their job. Apologize to Harrison and get him back to hosting the show. This year has been a disappointment. Please don’t bring these two women back.v
