The Bachelorette's Dale Moss Speaks About His Break Up With Clare Crawley

After several days of rumors circulating, Bachelor Nation fans got news of Dale Moss and Clare Crawley’s official breakup. The two met and became engaged on Clare’s season of “The Bachelorette” but they have since gone their separate ways.

On January 19, 2021 Dale announced that he and Clare split. Thanks to an exclusive from E! News, we have the scoop on why Dale ended the engagement.

Dale Moss’s Thoughts

A few hours after officially announcing his split from Clare Crawley, Dale spoke to a reporter after being spotted in New York City. In response to questions about his decision to break up with Clare, Dale states that, “Honestly, we’ve just got a lot going on in our lives right now,” and explains that “This is just the healthiest thing for both of us.”

Fortunately, Dale reveals that there is no animosity between the two and that they expect to remain friends. He says, “Clare and I will be cool.”

As for Dale’s thoughts about his time on “The Bachelorette” he says that he has no regrets, “None whatsoever. I met Clare, you know? That’s why I went on the show.”

Currently, Dale hints that he is not ready to consider a possible future on “The Bachelor in Paradise” or even becoming the next Bachelor. He simply says, “Not there yet, man.” Also, he is, “Not even looking” at any DMs on social media in light of becoming single. He seems to be taking time for himself to heal.

How Clare Crawley is Coping

Clare is yet to comment on the recent breakup, but a source revealed to E! New that she is, “completely devastated.”

The source further stated that, “Dale broke it off with Clare. Dale felt that he is not ready for marriage and was not ready to move to Sacramento for Clare. They were making a lot of plans that Dale could not commit to. It didn’t feel right and he had to follow his heart. They are in different places in life right now.”
