The Bachelor’s Shanae Ankney Expecting First Child
The Bachelor Nation family is growing by one! Shanae Ankney and her boyfriend Nate Ebner are expecting their first child.

Shanae and Nate’s Gender Reveal
Shanae Ankney announced her pregnancy on her Instagram!
She posted photos featuring herself and her boyfriend, Nate Ebner biting into cupcakes with pink icing in the center and celebrating.
She captioned the photos, “I cannot wait to become a girl mom 🎀🧸🩷 baby Ebner arriving April 2024 ✨”
The former Bachelor contestant also added “#momanddad” to her photo caption.
Finding Out
According to Shanae, she and her former NFL player boyfriend found out they were expecting back in July.
She shared, “I knew I was pregnant before I even took the test. I just had a gut feeling,”
She also adds, “We waited and waited for the double lines to show up, and boom! The double lines appeared.”
Shanae continues, “Nate and I were looking at each other, just smiling and in awe,”
Ready for Parenthood
Nate Ebner shares that he is very excited to become a dad. He says, “I’m super excited.”
He also adds, “I think Shanae is a wonderful human with a beautiful soul, and I can’t wait to watch her be an amazing mother to our child.”
Ebner also talks aobut how he thinks Shanae will do as a mother. He says, “She will be the absolute best, as she has so much love to give.”
He continues, “I know it will be difficult, but I think I have a lot to offer, and I’m excited about the experience, the challenge and the learning along the way.”
Ebner concludes, “I know that, if I can be a fraction of the father he was to me, our child will be a lucky one. I believe parenting is the first step to a better society.”
After Shanae didn’t find love on The Bachelor or Bachelor in Paradise, fans are excited to see her so happy and starting a family.
