The Kissing Booth 2: My Reaction
OMG! The Kissing Booth 2 is out on Netflix! This movie is my new favorite. I highly recommend you go and watch it if you haven’t. And then rewatch it again and again.
Couples’ Chemistry
The couples definitely experienced a lot of drama with one another. Elle and Noah were struggling to maintain their long-distance relationship. Elle is afraid that Noah will fall to temptations with Chloe Winthrop at Harvard. Then, there is the new heartthrob, Marco Peña. What a snack! *SPOILER ALERT!* Marco catches feelings for Elle, but Elle still wants Noah. This is one tricky love triangle!
As for Lee and Rachel, Rachel wants more alone time with Lee. However, Elle is constantly inviting herself along on their dates. I think Elle is just lonely, because Noah isn’t there. It’s not cool that Rachel practically has to beg Lee to set boundaries with Elle. I don’t exactly blame Elle. Her best-friendship with Lee has been super strong since day one. Their bond is like best-friend goals.
The Return of The Kissing Booth Stand
Oh how I loved the nostalgia of the famous Kissing Booth (same one from the first movie)! The energy of everyone kissing was bigger than the first time. But, that’s just my opinion. It’s like this booth somehow brings the most unlikely of couples together.
My two favorite parts were when Ollie confronts his feelings for a classmate in front of the entire student body! BRAVO! Way to go Ollie! And most importantly, when Lee and Rachel come face to face after their huge argument. I won’t tell you what happened. But, I’m sure you already have an idea.
The Cliff Hanger
The immortal last words of Marco Peña, “Yes she is” will forever ring in my ears. We now know Marco loves Elle. But, Elle loves Noah. This love triangle is leaving me with so many unanswered questions. Is it Elle and Noah forever? Or, will a new future start with Elle and Marco? If you haven’t already, go and check out this movie on Netflix. And if you haven’t seen the first movie yet. Well, then you need to catch up my friend.
