One of my favorite foods is grilled cheese. It’s such a great comfort food and you can never really go wrong with it! Here is my favorite ways to really ramp up this classic.

Grilled cheese is a staple in everyone’s childhood. It’s the easiest thing to make, anyone can do it. This is a great way to elevate this classic comfort food. There are a lot of ways you can style a grilled cheese, but I assure you, this one is the best.

This recipe would be great for quick summer snack for any child or adult! It combines the sweetness of the apple with the warm and crunchiness of the grilled cheese!

INGREDIENTS:

1 tbs of butter

2 slices of bread

3 slices of Muenster cheese

1 apple

2 slices of Morning Star Farms Veggie Bacon

INSTRUCTIONS FOR GRILLED CHEESE:

  • Grab a skillet, and put it on the stove over medium heat
  • Cook the veggie bacon.
  • Spread butter on both of your slices of bread.
  • Cut your apple into thin slices.
  • Put one slice on the skillet.
  • Put 2 slices of cheese, on the bread and then apple slices and add your bacon.
  • Top that with the third slice of cheese.
  • Wait for the cheese to melt a little and then top with the other slice of bread.
  • Flip your sandwich and then when it’s crispy to your liking, remove from the skillet and enjoy!

Cook Time 5 minutes
Total Time 8 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 tbs of butter
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of Veggie Bacon
  • 3 slices of cheese
  • 1 apple

Instructions

Grab a skillet, and put it on the stove over medium heat

Cook veggie bacon.

Spread butter on both of your slices of bread.

Cut your apple into thin slices.

Put one slice on the skillet.

Put 2 slices of cheese, on the bread and then apple slices and add your bacon.

Top that with the third slice of cheese.
