The Scoop on the New Bachelor Colton Underwood

It’s official, the 2019 Bachelor is Colton Underwood!

Colton is a former NFL player who briefly dated Olympian Aly Raisman and Tia Booth, who was on Aries’ season of The Bachelor. He is fresh off season 14 of The Bachelorette where he fought for Beccas’ heart but ultimately failed to receive a rose right before the fantasy suites.

From there, he headed straight for Bachelor in Paradise. Throughout his time on the island, he and Tia were one of the more solid couples. That is until he broke up with Tia and decided to leave! Now Colton is on the quest to find love again, this time as the Bachelor. One of this season’s storylines will focus on Colton being a virgin and how he is able to build relationships.

Overall there have been mixed reactions about the fact that he has been chosen for this season. While there are plenty of people that are excited to see Colton’s journey, others were not as pleased with the decision, especially after the fact that Colton left Tia in Paradise. Others were looking forward to possibly seeing Blake or Grocery Store Joe from Becca’s season.

This will definitely be one of the most dramatic seasons of The Bachelor yet, and we can’t wait to watch!
