Three Ingredient Soft Pretzel Bites
These soft pretzel bites, made with just three ingredients, are super easy to make. Dusted with powdered sugar or salt, these soft pretzels are perfect for snacking!

I really love pretzels, whether they be the mini salty pretzel packs or the large soft ones you get from the mall or a festival. However, I’ve never really thought of making my own pretzels, much less soft pretzel bites!
This soft pretzel bite recipe requires only three ingredients. Just three! The first is self-rising flour, combined in a mixing bowl with cream cheese to form the pretzel dough. The third ingredient is baking soda, which is mixed with boiling water. The pretzel dough is dipped into the boiling water for just a few seconds before baking.
In addition to the easy procedure, this recipe is super versatile. Depending on your mood, you can dust it with powdered sugar, which is what I like to do, or you can sprinkle salt on it for a classic salty flavor. You can also eat these bites with a dip! Make these as a delicious mid-afternoon snack for a quiet day in or for as a snack for a party or gathering.

INGREDIENTS FOR PRETZEL BITES:
- 1 cup of self-rising flour
- 4 ounces of cream cheese, softened
- About 1 spoonful of baking soda
- Small saucepan of boiling water
- Optional: powdered sugar, salt, or dip

HOW TO MAKE PRETZEL BITES:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of self-rising flour and the cream cheese. Mix until a crumbly dough forms.
- Spread the flour/cream cheese mixture onto a clean surface dusted with flour. Use your hands to knead the dough and press it together.
- Roll the dough into a large ball and cut it into four pieces. Roll each piece into a long strip and cut into small pieces (about 5-6 per strip.)
- Fill a small saucepan with water and boil it. Add in the baking soda. Dip each small pretzel bite into the boiling water for just a few seconds. Place the wet pretzel bite onto the baking sheet.
- Bake about 9 minutes or until slightly brown and crisp on the outside.
- Dust with powdered sugar, salt, etc, and enjoy!

TIPS:
Like I mentioned earlier in this recipe, it’s completely up to you how you wish to enjoy these pretzel bites! Dust them with powdered sugar or salt, or eat them with your favorite dip or glaze!
If the flour and cream cheese won’t form a dough, I recommend adding some milk to the bowl. This should help the dough to come together.
