Tom Holland’s Best Interview Moments

As Spider-Man, Tom Holland has many iconic moments throughout the Marvel films. Outside of his heroic alter ego, Holland has his fair share of iconic moments just being himself. Marvel fans know that Holland is notorious for accidentally sharing film spoilers in interviews and having various slip-ups on social media. Holland also likes to poke fun at his co-stars from time to time, making for some comedic moments.

With “Spider-Man: No Way Home” coming later this year, Holland is sure to have more amusing interview highlights on the press tour.

In the meantime, let’s take a look at some hilarious highlights from his social media and interview antics.

Tom Holland brings the hammer down on Thor

In a video from his Instagram, Chris Hemsworth stumbled upon a table full of Avengers action figures, including Spider-Man. The actor quickly noticed that a Thor figure was not present.

Things took a turn for the worse when Hemsworth grabbed his prop hammer and started hitting the toys off the table. Instead of smashing the Spider-Man figure, Hemsworth just pushed him over. “He’s just a kid he can fall over,” mocked Hemsworth.

Poking fun at Hemsworth, Holland responded with a similar video. Holland sat in front of a table of Avengers action figures, including Thor and Spider-Man. “Who’s a kid now Thor?” Joked Holland as he smacked Thor with a mini version of his hammer.

Since they were both joking around and playing with action figures, which actor is the true child is up for debate.

Holland roasts Anthony Mackie

Hemsworth isn’t the only Avenger Holland has called out. In various interviews, stars of “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan have shared their destain for the Spider-Man actor.

Holland and Mackie’s squabble heated up during Ace Comic Con 2018. In front of a large audience, Mackie bragged that he hadn’t seen “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” Holland roasted him right back by saying, “I haven’t seen the Falcon movie. Oh no, there isn’t one.”

Considering that Mackie has his own Disney+ series and a new superhero alter-ego, it is up for debate who has the last laugh between the two Marvel stars.

Holland spoils a Trilogy

Tom Holland spilled the beans for future Spider-Man films during the press tour of “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” When asked about his character arc for subsequent Marvel films, he responded that his character would have “room to grow in the next two movies.”

I’m sure Disney and Sony were not happy with this slip-up, as the third Spider-Man film was still a secret at the time.

Doctor Strange Saves the Day

To prevent Tom Holland from sharing spoilers during the press tour of “Avengers: Infinity War,” he was paired with “Doctor Strange” star Benedict Cumberbatch to keep him quiet. Acting almost like a babysitter, Cumberbatch would interrupt Holland if he was approaching a touchy subject. In some instances, he would straight up deny or answer questions for Holland to avoid a tricky situation.

It seems Disney thought it would take some magic to silence Holland. Luckily, they got the right doctor for the job.

Tom Holland as Batman?

When discussing his Spider-Man casting process with MTV’s Josh Horowitz, Holland shared a series of fake audition tapes. In these tapes, Holland fails at his Spider-Man audition due to playing the part hysterically wrong.

The high point of the video was Holland impersonating Christain Bale’s Batman from “The Dark Knight Trilogy.” Holland went on to perform lines incorrectly in Batman’s gravelly voice. The off-screen conductor of the audition questioned if Holland had ever read a comic book before.

After watching Holland’s performance, it is a good thing he is playing Spider-Man and not Batman.
