Located in Little Havana, Calle Ocho is a quaint and cultural neighborhood in Miami with rich Cuban history. When visiting, you won’t believe that you’re still in Florida, let alone America. The homes are vibrant with color and intricate artwork. If you’re looking for authentic and yummy food, visit El Pub restaurant located at 1548 SW 8th Street. Their seafood casserole is to die for.
2) Key Biscayne
If you’re looking for a relaxing, secluded, and gorgeous view, then Key Biscayne is the place to go. You’re even welcome to swim or play some tennis nearby the local courts. More importantly, this destination is the perfect place to go for relaxation. Although it may not have too many attractions, it makes up for that with its astonishing views. It’s the perfect place to go if you’re looking to have a romantic picnic with your loved one.
3) Everglades National Park
It won’t take too long to get to this national park from Miami. One thing is true, it is definitely worth the drive. These swamps contain a plethora of life living within them including alligators, eagles, manatees, and other creatures. Yet another bar, Ricky’s, offers a more family-friendly experience. Ricky’s has an arcade that will keep your children busy for hours. You’ll be able to enjoy your drinks and appetizers while the kids are having fun, too. Ricky’s also features a phenomenal happy hour Monday-Sunday where everything is 50 percent off from 5pm-10pm. Also, their artichoke pizza is to die for!
9) Coral Castle
If you’re into rocks and nature, Coral Castle is the perfect place for you to go. These giant and stunning limestone creations were sculpted by Edward Leedskalnin. There are over 1,100 sculptures to view. When you enter the castle, you’ll see a sign that says You’ll be seeing an unusual accomplishment. Unusual? Yes. Astonishing? Definitely.

Located in North Shore Open Space Park, Bark Beach lets you bring your dog along! There are several trails for you and your pooch to enjoy, or you can walk along the beach with them while they’re on a leash. However, this pet-friendly beach will cost you $25 if you’re not a resident of Miami. I think if you’re on vacation with your pooch, they’ll appreciate it.
