Top 3 Reasons to See Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

If you love thrilling action movies that make you sit on the edge of your seat, then you’ll love Jack Reacher: Never Go Back. The popularity of the first movie, Jack Reacher, inspired lots of excitement for the sequel, and now I understand why. This movie had something for everyone. There was action and drama, but there were also moments where I couldn’t contain my laughter due to the snarky comments made by Reacher.

There are so many reasons to see this movie, but today I’ll be giving you the top 3 reasons to see Jack Reacher: Never Go Back when it comes out in theaters on October 21.

1. Tom Cruise

I couldn’t think of anyone better than Tom Cruise to have played the lead role of Jack Reacher. Reacher is a hitchhiking, smart-mouthed, ex-army man, with a knack for managing to escape any situation imaginable. After finding out that he might have a daughter, Reacher teams up with Major Susan Turner, played by Cobie Smulders, to find and protect her from possible danger. Tom Cruise brilliantly pulls off this role and is able to demonstrate each layer of Reacher’s complex personality. Cruise is tough and cutthroat when necessary but shows his soft and comforting side when bonding with his alleged daughter. Tom Cruise was the perfect actor to play Reacher.

2. Unbelievable Fight Scenes and Stunts

This movie is packed full of fight scenes and stunts. In fact, within the first 30 minutes of the film, Reacher has already taken down a number of people using only his fists. These incredibly real fight scenes add to the action of the movie and entice audiences to keep watching. Along with multiple fight scenes, the movie also include numerous incredible stunts. From jumping off of buildings to making things explode, this film is very rich in death defying tricks.

3. The Father/Daughter Connection Between Two Characters

Reacher doesn’t think that it’s even possible for him to have a daughter, but when he finds out that he might, he does everything he can to save her from danger. When Reacher realizes that his maybe-daughter named Sam, played by Danika Yarosh, has a smart mouth and a chip on her shoulder, he becomes fond of her very quickly. Their connection throughout the movie gets stronger and stronger as they face numerous obstacles together. Instead of a cliché romance between 2 main characters, this movie explores the deep connection that a father and daughter could have.
