ABOUT
Toy Story 4 starts where the previous movie left off. Andy, now a college kid, has donated his toys to a little girl named Bonnie. This movie is about Woody, Buzz, and some new and old friends taking a road trip to learn what it really means to be a toy. Of course there’s a few bumps in the road, but I won’t ruin the surprises!
NEW CHARACTERS
In addition to our old faves, Toy Story 4 brings several new and exciting toys onto the scene. One question we’ve all had since the first movie is what makes a toy come to life? We finally get an answer when we meet Forky, a spork with googly eyes. Forky, voiced by Tony Hale, is an adorable homemade toy that you will definitely love!

Another new toy is Duke Caboom, played by the amazing Keanu Reeves! This is the coolest stuntman toy we all wish we had as kids (or now). The famous comedy duo Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele voice two hilarious carnival plushies- Ducky and Bunny.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

Even though she isn’t new we finally get to see Bo Peep again. This character, voiced by Annie Potts and since Bo was missing from Toy Story 3, we haven’t seen her in twenty years! I am so happy she’s back and in a major role this time around. This porcelain doll is a leader, fighter and heroine to the toys.
THE ANIMATION
The first film in the Toy Story franchise is notable for many reasons. Toy Story was the first computer animated movie made by Pixar. The medium has come so far since we met Woody and the gang.

The first Toy Story movie appeared twenty-four years ago in 1995. Now, movies have improved so much visually. I was so impressed with how realistic the animation in Toy Story 4 looks! Everything from Buzz’s face to the leaves on the trees looks stunning on the big screen. Even the cat had me taking a few double takes with how real it appeared on screen.
MY THOUGHTS
You may have thought the story was over but you realize how much you need Toy Story 4. This is the movie that brings it all together. If you’re like me you grew up watching your best friends Buzz & Woody, and this is a satisfying ending to the series.

WILL MILLENNIALS ENJOY TOY STORY 4?
YES! This is a perfect movie for Millennials. We all watched the Toy Story films as kids and had high expectations for this one and the filmmakers didn’t disappoint. Toy Story 4 is a movie masterpiece that is perfect for both nostalgic millennials and kids today. I was very happy with how everything played out for these special toys. I think others who grew up watching the movies will agree it was just what the story needed.
CATCH UP ON TOY STORY
In the original Toy Story, we meet Andy and all his toys. Sheriff Woody remains the leader of the group until space ranger Buzz Lightyear steals the show. Buzz thinks he’s actually an astronaut, and doesn’t realize he’s a toy which drives Woody crazy. Both had to put away their differences when they were kidnapped by the mischievous neighbor kid, Sid. After becoming friends and working together, they make it back home to Andy.
Toy Story 2 brought about new problems with Woody accidentally being sold to a toy collector at a garage sale. He ends up finding out he stars in a wild west show, and meets several other western toys including Bullseye the horse Stinky Pete, and Jessie the Cowgirl. Buzz and the other toys go on an adventure to find their friend and end up taking Woody, Bullseye and Jessie home to Andy.
Toy Story 3 is where things get emotional. Andy is now going to college and has to let go of his childhood toys. Woody, Buzz and their friends end up at a children’s daycare and nearly get torn apart by playful preschoolers. An escape is more difficult than the last and you’ll definitely cry to this ending. With a bittersweet scene, Andy is left donating his toys to a little girl named Bonnie. As viewers, we know he will always remember his great times with Woody.
Remember, TOY STORY 4 opens in theatres everywhere on June 21st!
