Verizon Wireless Chicago Destination Store Tour

A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to head to Chicago with Verizon and awesome midwest online influencers. I really love being a part of such an amazing group of people. Verizon recently opened a new store on Michigan Avenue and we were able to get a tour of the store. Seriously, the place is amazing. If you have even the slightest interest in technology, there is something that will excite you. Check out my tour of the Verizon Wireless Chicago destination store.

One of my favorite parts was the sounds station or amplify center. You can listen to music and even make your own beats.

They also have a really fun fitness section. With the New Year quickly approaching, many of us like to add “getting in shape” on those resolutions. Well, I’m excited to tell you that there are so many FUN ways to get in shape by incorporating technology. Verizon’s Destination stores offer a lot of in store ideas to get fit.

You can take a virtual walk that literally lets you walk anywhere in the world. A fellow VZWBuzz influencers went to Ireland while we were touring the store. You can also look up places like your hometown and revisit the streets you grew up on.

There are also fun things like checking your speed when kicking a soccer ball or testing your vertical jump.

Keeping with the Chicago theme, they also have deep dish ideas for businesses.

One of my very favorite sections is the design you own case. There is even a green screen room that you can take a picture of yourself and put it on your cell phone cover.
