There’s never a bad time to visit the Magic Kingdom. A February trip to the Disney parks is sure to be a great time filled with sunny days, warm weather and all your favorite Disney characters. What to Wear to Disney World in February

Now after covering some of the vital Disney World information, let’s jump into what you should pack!

First things first, you are going to want to wear comfortable walking shoes. Regardless of the park or parks you are attending, you will be doing a lot of walking.

After all this walking you may still be sore even after wearing comfortable shoes, don’t make it worse with uncomfortable shoes for a long day. Pack your favorite pair of tennis shoes, running shoes or walking sandals.

Flip flops are not the most ideal considering all the walking, but they are great for water parks. A comfortable pair of shoes will make all the difference at Disney World!

Disney World Tops in February

There are lots of great choices of tops for what to wear to Disney World in February. This temperature is perfect for lightweight long-sleeved shirts. The weather is warm during the day, but not too hot. It definitely cools down in the evening and the long sleeves will keep you warm.

If you tend to always be a little colder, but sure to pack yourself a jacket. You can tie it around your waist or put it in your park bag when it’s not needed. Short sleeves are a good option too. It’ll keep you cool and comfortable during the day and you can throw a jacket on whenever you get chilly.

Jean jackets or corduroy jackets make for a cute outfit, but you can’t go wrong with an easy zip-up jacket either. Of course, tank tops are always cute, but consider saving them for the summer months when the temperatures will be extreme. Wear your favorite Disney short sleeve shirt or you pick out something new this trip!

Disney World Bottoms

There’s always plenty of great options when it comes to pants. A cute and comfy pair of shorts is always a go-to and will be perfect for the sunny weather during the daytime.

However, don’t forget about the temperature drops after the sun goes down. Athletic skorts, such as a tennis or golf skirt, are another great choice. Plus, they are super trendy right now! It’ll make for a perfectly trendy and desirable outfit. Long pants, such as leggings or jeans, are always a top contender.

Leggings will be cooler and more comfortable more than likely. This doesn’t mean they can’t be spiced up and trendy. Pair the leggings with your favorite Disney shirt, some cute shoes and a matching ear headband.

Jeans obviously almost always go with anything and everything, so you can’t really go wrong with that choice either! A sundress can be an adorable option too, if that’s your style!

Disney World Accessories

Don’t forget about the accessories and necessities when going to Disney World. First and foremost, you’ll need a park bag. This bag is to keep track of all your belongings and things you may need throughout the day.

Stay updated on the park bag rules, including the sizing of the bag and what is allowed inside the bag. Or if you don’t need a whole lot of space, consider bringing a fanny pack!

Disney World Weather

Disney World is located in Orlando, which is central Florida. It has beautiful weather year round. Of course summer months experience hot days and high temperatures. That doesn’t mean winter months have cold weather to the point that you’ll need heavy coats. February is a perfect time of year to visit if you don’t want weather that is extremely hot.

The average temperatures of Orlando in February range from 74 degrees fahrenheit as the average high and 53 degrees fahrenheit as the average low. The daytime temperatures are perfect for a comfortable day of walking around the theme parks. The rest of the year may experience extremely hot temperatures.

If you don’t want your Disney trip to be in the crazy heat, going the months of November thru February is your best option. You’ll experience cooler temperatures and colder climates during this time, but nothing like northern states weather. As the sun goes down, there will be some chilly nights in which a light jacket would be a good idea.

As for rain, you probably won’t see too much of that. That’s not to say it won’t rain at all. On average the month of February sees 2.5 inches of rain. The rainy season stretches from June to September, with June being the month to see the most rain. However, consider bringing a small umbrella in case your trip to the Disney World parks falls on one of the rainy days. We can say from personal experiences, it’s always better to be prepared!

There are some key factors to look into and remember for your trip to Walt Disney World Resort. Currently, an important factor is the rules and regulations regarding COVID-19. Disney World has implemented a number of safety measures in order to protect its guests from COVID-19. They have taken a safe and gradual approach with their safety measures.

Disney World is obviously a huge attraction for many considering all of its amazing rides, shows, foods, special events, and more. With this being said, the crowd levels can get extremely large and busy. The Disney World Crowd Calendar is a great way to pay attention to the busyness of the parks. Plan your trip around how busy the parks are intended to be that day.

Although Disney is one of the most enchanting places to visit, it comes at quite a price. It’s always a thrill to save a little bit of money whenever possible. It doesn’t take much to get them, just some time and common sense. Cardmembers of certain banks also receive special discounts and offers. Look more into how you can save before your trip! Or see if there are extra magic hours you can attend after regular park hours.

If water parks are one of your favorites, be sure to check for updates and look into what will be open during the month of February. Oftentimes, February is a month for seasonal refurbishments. Typhoon’s Lagoon, a water park, is usually under seasonal closure at this time, but look for updates on Blizzard Beach, another water park of Disney World.

If you plan on swimming, going in a hot tub, visiting water parks or water rides, don’t forget to pack a bathing suit! Good news is that water rides are open year-round at Disney. This includes Splash Mountain and Kali River Rapids. We suggest paying attention to updates on any water park-related information before the trip.

Consider taking advantage of Disney dining plans! Disney created dining plans to help make eating easier for everyone on their visit. You can make a reservation for certain restaurants and eating places up to 60 days in advance.

Customer service will always be phenomenal as well! This will also help your friends and family not have to waste as much time waiting in lines, especially while everyone’s starting to get hungry.

Fun in February

Disney World is known for their special events throughout the year! There’s never a time without something fun and exciting going on. Be sure to check out what Disney World has in store during February. The month of February has a few major holidays and events going on.

To start off, February is Black History month. The first week of February has Groundhog’s Day in it’s itinerary. Then there’s Valentine’s Day and President’s Day weekend as well. In past years, Disney has done special events for the different holidays including special treats and special activities.

The Epcot International Festival of the Arts is an amazing festival hosted in February. The Festival of the Arts is a celebration that dives into a number of different art outlets. This includes culinary arts, performing arts, visual arts and more. It’s a place to explore and embrace your creativity.

There will be plenty of unique foods to choose from, entertainment and performances of many kinds and artwork to look at everywhere you turn. Live out your Hollywood dreams at the Hollywood Studios! This is a must visit for all movie lovers.
