Disney World in September
In September, Disney World can still be really hot but it is the perfect time to go; especially on a spring break trip! A lot of people go to central Florida during the holiday season, labor day weekend, or summer months, so it is a great idea to plan ahead and check the weather forecast, look into ticket prices, and take proper safety measures (like face masks) to have the best time on your Disney trip. Contact customer service if you have any questions.
It is still in the 90’s during the day, so you will need to dress appropriately depending on your personal preferences. A good idea is to wear light weight clothing that is comfortable and easy to move around in, and bring your best shoes to do a lot of walking in. Comfortable walking shoes are essential for enjoying the Disney parks or walkin’ down Main Street. You will also want to wear sunscreen and a hat to protect yourself on sunny days (but hopefully this is just common sense!).
With Florida weather, there are also chances of rainy days and even heavy rain, but don’t let that stop you from having a great time! There will be low crowds during this time as well. Make sure you pack a small umbrella or poncho, especially during the hurricane season, don’t count on just getting wet from the water rides!
Shoes are also important when going to Disney World vacation in September,no matter if that’s earlier in the month or at the end of the month. Make sure you wear shoes that are comfortable and will keep your feet cool and dry. We recommend wearing sneakers or sandals with support straps.
Conversely, later in the day in September, Disney World cools down a bit! The evenings can get a little bit chilly and the air conditioning can too, so it is a good idea to bring along a light jacket or sweatshirt.
For women, we suggest light layers that can be easily removed as the day warms up. A comfy pair of shorts or capris, tank tops or T-shirt, and a light jacket should do the trick. Be sure to bring comfortable shoes too – you’ll be doing a lot of walking!
Men can wear similar clothing, but might want to bring a hat and sunglasses to protect against the sun. Shorts and jeans are both appropriate, just make sure they’re not too heavy.
As for kids, they can pretty much wear whatever they feel comfortable in. However, it’s always a good idea to bring a light jacket or sweater just in case the temperature drops at night. And don’t forget to pack a bathing suit, sunscreen and hats for the little ones that want to go to water parks!
So, what do you need to wear to Disney World in September? Well, the weather in September is be a bit unpredictable, so it’s best to pack clothes for all types of weather.
Be sure to bring sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses, especially if you’re visiting during the day. It’s also a good idea to bring a light jacket or sweater, just in case it gets cool at night. And don’t forget to pack comfortable shoes – you’ll be doing a lot of walking!
