What Your ‘Number’ Says About You
What’s in a number? Yes, that number.
Thanks to years of overuse of the cliche, we all know exactly what’s in a name, but we’re a little shy about discussing what a woman’s total number of sexual partners really says about her. Back in 2011, Anna Faris made it a little more clear that it’s okay to for women to forget about Marie Claire’s “national average of sexual partners” and just be themselves, doing what works for them individually.
So, ladies… this is what your “number” says about you:
0 Partners:
Nothing.
So, you’ve yet to have sex. Who you sleep with or don’t sleep with is entirely your choice. Good for you!
1-5 Partners:
Nothing.
So, you’ve had sex with one to five partners. Who you sleep with or don’t sleep with is entirely up to you. Good for you!
6-10 Partners:
Nothing.
So, you’ve had sex with six to ten partners. The frequency with witch you chose to sleep with new partners is entirely your choice. Good for you!
11-20 Partners:
Nothing.
So, you’ve had sex with 11 to 20 partners. Who you sleep with is, again, up to you. Never let anyone tell you how many is too many. Good for you!
20+ Partners:
Nothing.
So, you’ve had sex with 20 or more partners. This world is full of millions and millions of people, and how many of them you chose to sleep with is entirely up to you. Good for you!
As long as you are happy, comfortable, and yourself, a number is just a number. Don’t sweat it, this isn’t calculus class.
