Where Are They Now: The Cast of Twilight

It’s been 12 years since the release of the first Twilight movie, which started the beginning of one of the most well known movie franchises in the 21st century. While we’ve seen some of the original cast move on to other projects, it’s hard to keep track of what everyone’s been doing these last few years. Here’s what the stars have been up to.

Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan)

Kristen kept very busy after the Twilight Saga, working in both the movie and the fashion world. After being the face of Chanel and Balenciaga campaigns, she starred in more film festival indie movies such as Camp X Ray, Clouds of Sils Maria, and Lizzie. She has returned to big-budget Hollywood films such as critically acclaimed Charlies Angels, and has recently been casted as Princess Diana in the upcoming movie about her divorce to Prince Charles. While her and co star Robert Pattinson were involved in a relationship after the Twilight Saga, they broke things off in 2013 and Stewart has since come out as bisexual.

Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen)

Pattinson stole the hearts of millions of viewers in his role of Edward Cullen. Since Twilight, he’s starred in a few major films such as Water for Elephants and Remember Me, as well as some independent films like The Rover. He also pursued modeling in a few Dior campaigns. His next upcoming roll is one of his most anticipated, as he will appear as Batman in Matt Reeve’s The Batman. Pattinson has kept a pretty quiet private life and has garnered some comedic attention recently on Twitter for his funny responses in interviews.

Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black)

Lautner has also kept a relatively low profile since filming Twilight, and has made the switch from movies to television. He starred in the BBC sitcom Cuckoo, as well as the comedy sitcom Scream Queens. He garnered a lot of attention during his role as Jacob Black, particularly for his intense workout regiments and bodybuilding. Lautner confirms he is drug and alcohol free and still follows these regiments.

Ashley Greene (Alice)

Ashley Greene’s career has taken a much different path than that of her co-stars. While she has appeared in a few film festival projects, she has expanded her acting to voice acting, most notably in the film Max and Me and in video games such as Batman: Arkham Knight and Batgirl: A Matter of Family.

Nikki Reed (Rosalie)

Reed has taken a bit of a step down from the spotlight compared to her costars. While she did appear in Empire State alongside Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson, she has no current projects in the works.

Kellan Lutz (Emmett)

After finishing the series, Lutz went on to star in a few major products such as The Immortals, Java Heat, and Money. His most notable accomplishments have been modeling with Ford Models group and appearing in Calvin Klein ads, as well as working with the charity “Saving Innocence” which rescues victims of child sex trafficking in the United States.

Jackson Rathbone (Jasper)

After appearing as Sokka in the live action remake Avatar, Rathbone has gone on to pursue a variety of projects. He toured with his band 100 Monkeys and appeared in the first ever social sitcom Aim High which premiered on Facebook. Rathbone has since launched entertainment company PatchMo Entertainment and record label Happy Jack Records.
