Will Bachelor Nation fans still get to see their favorites return this summer? Maybe not. Amid controversy surrounding the franchise, apparently several stars are not willing to return for Bachelor in Paradise to find love on the beach.

What’s Next For Bachelor in Paradise?
Bachelor Nation is in the mist of lots of controversy surrounding Chris Harrison and former contestant Rachel Kirkconnell. So how is the controversy impacting preparation for the seventh season of Bachelor in Paradise?
A source exclusively tells E! News that, “Casting has begun and some members of Bachelor Nation are apprehensive to sign up. Some are wondering what direction the season will take and are curious if it will strictly focus on contestants falling in love.”
Another source also shares, “They have put out several asks to Bachelor veterans. Many people are declining due to the current state of Bachelor Nation. A lot of people are removing themselves from the franchise.”
Who is Coming to Paradise?
E News’ second source explains that ABC is, “hoping to get Blake Horstmann, Tia Booth, and Becca Kufrin. Producers are not considering most of the women from Matt [James]’s season.”
Also, another insider mentions the rumors of Kelley Flanagan coming to paradise. After her breakup with Peter Weber, Kelley said she’d “definitely consider it” The source since revealed, “She turned down BIP because she is dating someone.” After some flirting on Instagram, some fans suspect Kelley Flanagan could be dating The Bachelorette alum Bennett Jordan.
In the midst of controversey and cast speculation, the third source offers hope saying, “This could be the best cast ever.”
They further explain, “There is talk of having two years’ worth of cast due to no Bachelor in Paradise last year. They are in talks with multiple former leads. For the first time in franchise history, there will very likely be former Bachelors and Bachelorettes hitting the beach in Mexico.”
So while fans may have to wait a while to see their favorites hit the beach again, it sounds like season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise may be the best one yet! Who would you like to see in paradise?
