Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 and 1/2 cup flour
1 and 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup milk
1/2 tablespoon instant coffee
Instructions
Mix butter, sugar, and eggs together in a large mixing bowl.
Add in vanilla extract.
Combine flour and baking powder together and add it into the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
Mix instant coffee with milk.
Take about 4 tablespoons of cake batter and place in a separate bowl.
Pour the remaining batter into your pan.
Pour the instant coffee into the 4 tablespoons of batter. Mix using a spoon.
Add the coffee-imbued batter to the middle of the pan, swirling the batter around with a knife to create swirls. Let the extra coffee liquid sink into the batter.
Bake at 300 degrees F for about 30 minutes. Let cool and then serve.
