3 Upcoming Disney Movies You Might Not Know About

Let’s start by acknowledging that there are so many Disney movies coming out this year! Marvel’s Black Panther currently owns the box office, and Marvel still has Avengers and Ant-Man coming up. Not to mention A Wrinkle In Time in March, the new Incredibles and Star Wars films this summer, and the Nutcracker in the winter. Ah! We know it’s already hard to keep track, but here are a few more Disney movies you might not know about.

1. Christopher Robin

We gasped when we saw the title. Disney wants to bring us back to the Hundred Acre Wood. In this live-action film, Christopher Robin (Ewan McGregor) grew up and life is hitting him hard. He’s putting work over his family and there’s zero time for happiness. Then, Christopher stumbles across an old best friend. Winnie-the-Pooh and his fellow stuffed friends played a big part in Christopher’s childhood. Now they hope to help him find his imagination and remind him about the importance of slowing down in his adulthood.

Christopher Robin premieres August 3, 2018!

2. Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2

When can I see you again? Owl City’s catchy end credit theme for Wreck-It Ralph became a question from fans to Disney. It looks like we’ll be seeing Ralph again at the end of 2018! Ralph Breaks The Internet, or Wreck-It Ralph 2 sends us back to the virtual world. Joined by Vanellope (Sarah Silverman), Ralph (John C. Reilly) heads into the internet to fix Sugar Rush. If seeing Ralph and the gang again isn’t enough, according to Disney, all of the princesses will make an appearance in the film!

Wreck-It Ralph 2 hits theaters November 21, 2018!

3. Mary Poppins Returns

It’s been a few decades since our last jolly holiday with Mary. The movie will reintroduce us to Jane and Michael, who are now well into adulthood. Ms. Poppins (Emily Blunt) returns to help Michael and his children after a heartbreaking loss. Jack (Lin-Manuel Miranda) the lamplighter and Topsy (Meryl Streep) Mary’s cousin will join the family on their adventure to happiness. This one’s a bittersweet remake that we honestly can’t wait to see.
